Weekend at (burr)ies

We went to visit my cousin. She rented a beach house on st augustine beach. My family must be having their blood thin out. Its only 68 and slightly windy. Not bad temperature to me.

Another lazy Sunday

At my family's for a dinner. My sister is showing my mom how to blog with her phone while my father and brother in law watch TV.

New video of raccoons

I cleaned up my new video from the feeding this afternoon. I uploaded it to picasa but it does not seem to work. Might be a delay between the upload ad when picasa web will allow it to be watched. it is not small.

When I got home from work today my roommate surprised me by standing over the sink bottle feeding some strange animal. I thought she had gotten a new pet for her menagerie, but instead found out that she had rescued some orphaned baby raccoons found in the parking lot of her work. They don't know what happened to the mother so Lisa, being the animal humanitarian she is, brought them home to feed and care for until we can contact a wildlife rescue shelter.

I tried taking some pictures on my phone and a movie, pictures didn't turn out to bad, since the phone has a light, but it would not use it for the movie so it is very dark. I did the movie mostly to get the sounds that they were making. 

Moved it!

I have moved my blog to blogger since then I dont have to maintain the software. Also I can point DNS to it so it looks like part of my site. Pretty cool.

Things change, life goes on.

Well, haven't posted much, but I am not much of a talker. A lot of things have changed since I launched this site, I moved to a new house and got some new roommates, bought a Mac Book Pro, and now I am changing jobs from the job I had for nine years to a new one in a new city. If hell hasn't frozen over yet, the denizens must really appreciate the cold snap.

Hopefully my new job will have me burnt out less on web stuff so I can start building this site up more, and start dumping my ideas from my brain.

A new home

Well, I finally got something up on my new domain and got my hosting in place. This will eventually be an area for my thoughts and programming experiments. Occasionally I may have useful information up here as well.
